Our high quality 9 Strand Polybraid is (3mm) in diameter, built for durability, strength, safety and electrical conductivity. The difference in a braided polywire versus a twisted polywire is simple. The nature of the braiding process allows for the conductors to overlap allowing for a continuous current flow.  The breaking strength of a braided polywire is 300lbs, letting it take more abuse than a standard twisted polywire.
